Anglo-Saxon MSS Online VI: The Bodleian Library
The Bodleian Library has a large quantity of material online, though not always very easy to find. The easiest to use in my opinion is the Early Manuscripts at Oxford University website, where all manuscripts are digitised in full and presented as sequences of high-resolution images, with one image per page. The Luna viewer is designed to aggregate the various sets of preexisting images, and so includes some manuscripts in full and others with varying numbers of images. In this installment of Anglo-Saxon Manuscripts Online I will focus on eleventh-century English manuscripts represented on Luna. In future I hope to expand this further to include the Early MSS site and also potentially material on Luna from outside the eleventh century (for an indication of which see the list of manuscripts in the left-hand sidebar here).
