DigiPal at Leeds IMC 2013

Following up on last year's strong showing, digital approaches to manuscript studies will be well represented once again at Leeds International Medieval Congress (IMC) in 2013, including three members of the DigiPal team.

Stewart Brookes and Peter Stokes will be speaking on 'Answers and Questions: Digital Approaches to Dating Medieval Script' in Session 630 on Tuesday 2 July, 11:15–12:45 in the Emmanuel Centre Room 7.

Matilda Watson will be speaking on 'Contacts between Manuscript Cultures in England and Norway in the 11th Century' in Session 1730 on Thursday 4 July, 14:15–15:45, in the same room (Emmanuel Centre Room 7).

In addition to these contributions from DigiPal, there are no less than five sessions totalling fifteen papers on the application of computers to medieval documents and handwriting identification, sponsored collectively by Groupement de Recherche 'Diplomatique' (GDR 3177-CNRS), APICES and Cap Digital.
