This script varies in weight but is mostly fairly heavy and with some shading; it is also forward-leaning and has bodies which are sometimes taller but not wider than those of the other hands on the page. Ascenders and descenders are both long and straight, and ascenders have wedges of sorts. Minims usually have wedges or angled approach-strokes and have rising ticks for feet. Teardrop-shaped a and æ are both found, as are round c and e. The back of d is medium-length and angled at about 40–45°. The top of g is twice concave-down, and the mid-section in these cases is small, angled down and left then turning fairly sharply down and right before ending in a small three-quarters-closed loop. The third example of g is in ligature with a low preceding æ: the top here is straight and wide and the mid-section straight, vertical, and fairly long before turning sharply right and then curving around in the same small loop. The shoulder of h is very rounded and once lacks a foot; m and n are less rounded, and r is quite angular. Only low s is found. No þ or ð appears. The top of 7 is long and flat, and the descender close to vertical.
