These two glosses were written with a very thin pen. The first gloss was written fairly quickly and is somewhat angular, and the second is more rounded and better formed. Essentially teardrop-shaped a and æ are found, as is round e with a straight tongue. Tall s was used and stands on the base-line. The shoulders of the m are somewhat angular and the letter has a thin approach-stroke. The descender of n has a wedge. The back of ð is fairly long, fairly steep, and vertical at the tip, and the through-stroke is hooked down.
