These glosses were written relatively neatly and with a thin pen. Ascenders are longer than minims and have small wedges. Descenders are straight and short but restricted by the lack of spacing between words. Minims have very small wedges and very small feet. Semi-caroline a is found, the back of which is straight, angled at about 80°, and without any hook at the top, but the second curved stroke meets the back below cue-height. Horned c is found, as is Caroline f but with a descender, and also Caroline h. The shoulder of n is quite angular. Insular r was used, the shoulder of which is quite rounded and turned slightly back to the right. Essentially Caroline s was used but with the hook at cue-height and with the vertical stroke descending slightly below the base-line.
